A plate of food on a table

When ever I make a trip to Florida my primary destination is always Clearwater Beach. Clearwater Beach is a small, white sand beach about 23 miles west of Tampa. One of the greatest attractions there for me is the Outback Steakhouse on Mandalay Avenue.

I smoke and therefor am very choosy in my selection of restaurants. Florida is a smoke-free state, meaning that you can’t smoke in restaurants and Outback Steakhouse is no exception. One of the special features of the Outback Steakhouse is they provide an outside patio for people wishing to smoke. I love to sit outside and enjoy the cool breeze and the smell of the ocean while I eat. For those wishing to catch up on the news or watch their favorite sports team play as they sling their favorite Tennis Racquets, don’t be discouraged, there is televisions outside on the patio as well.

The service is just fantastic. Never have I met a more courteous wait staff. I am an avid tea drinker and drink glass after glass at any restaurant but when I’m there the sweet tea at the Outback Steakhouse is just about the best around. Not too sweet but just right. Yet, my glass is never empty, which is no small feat. They are continually checking in on you to see of you need anything and are happy to oblige almost any request. They even open the door and greet you as you enter and exit. It just don’t get any better than that.

The place is also very clean, almost spotless, the cleanest place I’ve ever been in – you could literally play some fun sports betting games via https://www.ufabet168.info/%E0%B8%9A%E0%B8%B2%E0%B8%84%E0%B8%B2%E0%B8%A3%E0%B9%88%E0%B8%B2-sa/ in peace and uninterrupted. Even the bathrooms look like they were just installed the day before. The only draw back is the lack of screens around the patio. At night, with the lights and televisions on, the bugs can get a little annoying, but the staff was again very helpful.

The food is just about the best I have ever eaten. The steaks are perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to perfection, unlike the normal run-of-the-mill, dried up steak you get at other steakhouses. Of the maybe 14 or so times I have dinned there, my steak was perfect each time. The steak dinner comes with your choice of two of the following: Walkabout Soup, Aussie Chips, Signature Side Salad, Dressed Baked Potato, Steamed Veggies, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Steamed Broccoli, Sweet Potato or Fresh Green Beans all of which are prepared just lovely, and an unlimited supply of fresh baked bread.

I always choose the Signature Side Salad and the Dressed Baked Potato. Both of which arrive at your table fully prepared and ready to eat. The salad dressing and baked potato toppings are already on your salad and potato saving you precious seconds when you are ready to dive in. No detail is overlooked. They think of just about everything they can to make your visit a memorable one. The Outback Steakhouse of Clearwater, Florida is overall a great restaurant, plan on stopping by the next time you are in the area.
